IPMVP Protocol

Tuesday 10 April 2018

IPMVP stands for “International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol”.

The IPMVP affects major consumers of electrical energy or heating.

It was drawn up by the EVO (Efficiency Valuation Organization), a non-profit-making NGO which develops protocols relating to the measurement and verification of the outcomes of energy performance improvement projects.

It is a protocol designed to prove how much energy can be saved made after implementing energy efficiency solutions. The IPMVP method allows the measurement of the energy consumed during a reference period, and then the energy consumed during a follow-up period, after the energy performance improvement action has been taken.

This system should quickly become a compulsory step for the purposes of energy efficiency and the solutions associated with it.

At EnerBat we have a certified expert who can help you with this procedure.
