CECB stands for Cantonal Building Energy Certificate

The energy certificate assesses the overall energy consumption and performance and ranks buildings into categories from A (the best-performing) to G (the worst-performing).

This official energy label introduces greater transparency and could become compulsory in future when selling properties.

In addition to this, the CECB highlights the potential for energy optimisation in buildings, allowing the planning of steps to be taken in terms of both the facilities and consumption.
